Age criteria as on 1st June of academic session applied for:

  • Registration forms for admission will be issued from 1st of December every year.
  • Forms should be duly completed and submitted at the school office along with the required documents.
  • Submission of the registration form does not guarantee admission.
  • Admission shall be granted on first-come-first-served basis as per availability of seats.
  • Once admission is granted, the same shall be confirmed only after payment of admission fees and fees for the first quarter of the academic year. No claim for a refund will be entertained once a child has taken admission in the school.
  • Preference shall be given to siblings of existing students enrolled at Akshara High School.
  • Preference shall also be given to students residing in the immediate neighbourhood
  • No admission tests shall be conducted, either for children or for parents.
  • Donations are strictly not permitted.
  • 25% seats are reserved for students from economically weaker sections of society. Information can be procured from the office.

Akshara High School formulates regulations necessary for the smooth and effective functioning of the school. The school reserves the right to amend the regulations wherever and whenever considered necessary and appropriate. Therefore, this website and the descriptions contained herein are not to be construed as a contract binding Akshara High School to any specific policies.
  • Birth certificate (Attested Photocopy) for admission to Pre Primary Section
  • School Leaving Certificate (Original) for admission to Primary Section
  • One Passport size & one stamp size Photographs (Latest)
  • Proof of Residence (Attested Photocopy - Ration Card OR Electricity Bill OR Passport of child / parent)
  • Blood Group of the child (On Doctor?s Letterhead)

    • Submission of the above documents along with the Registration form is COMPULSORY.
    Nursery, Junior KG, Senior KG : Rs.1400/- per month
    Standard I to VI : Rs.1250/- per month
    Registration fees : Rs.200/-
    Term Fees : Rs.300/- payable twice a year
    June, July and August : Payable by 15th June
    September, Oct. & November : Payable by 15th Sept
    December, January & February : Payable by 15th December
    March, April & May : Payable by 15th March
    • Fees are to be paid quarterly
    • Fees once paid are not refundable
    • Late fee charges Rs.100/-p.m. (charges must be included with the school fees in the cheque amount)
    • Bounced cheque charges Rs.500/- (If a cheque bounces, the parent must pay the fees inclusive of late fee charges and/or bounced cheque charges by a Demand Draft or Pay Order payable at Mumbai).
